Dear FasTracKids Pod Microschool Families,

 

I am very pleased to announce that we have made the decision to increase our Homeschool Pod program age range all the way up until 8^th Grade or 14 years old!  As another extremely successful year is now approaching the end, I wanted to thank all of you for your continued support and dedication to FasTracKids and our vision of creating a super high quality learning pod school program for your children.  I feel like over the past few years we have all grown into one big loving and caring family with a unique bond in wanting to provide the very best learning experience for each child individually and collectively!

I recently went over the entire groups Math and English levels and what I discovered is that on average students’ academic levels (that are enrolled in pods) are 1 year above their grade levels, so kudos to the children and the staff that have been putting in such hard work on helping the children develop at their own pace and reach such amazing heights! Some of our students, in fact, are even close to 2 grade levels ahead of their age/grade at this point, which is truly remarkable! What is even more remarkable is the fact that these children will be able to continue to accelerate their learning with us should they continue with the pod program next year and for many more years to come as we will now be expanding the program all the way up to middle school age!

As many of you know the center was recognized as being a globally top performing center and was selected out of over 1,300 centers worldwide to represent the United States along with 1 other center in Houston Texas this year!  This is actually the 2^nd time in 13 years that we have achieved this honor which speaks to the longevity that our center has in providing excellence thanks to our super talented and dedicated staff!! We were recognized alongside other centers from Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia!  It was truly a wonderful experience where my family and I (Veronica my wife, Victoria my 16-year-old daughter and I) were able to tour Headquarters in Seoul Korea and visit other centers there that cater to over 1,500 students, in a single center!  We were of course able to do quite a bit of sight-seeing and new food restaurant eating in this truly remarkable and fast developing city!

I would personally like to honor all of our hardworking pod staff as I know they all are passionate educators who love our children and want to see them all succeed; their hard work is certainly showing!

Also this year the children have been able to settle into our new “Home” center which I may add has gone swimmingly. The children truly seem to love the new centers as we have gotten lots of compliments from parents as well as students!  I truly believe we have made a huge upgrade and we continue to look for ways to make the experience even better for children as we are looking towards more upgrades, in furniture, lighting, and computer equipment moving into next year!  Also as usual, I am open to taking any suggestions for ways in which we can improve the environment for the children so please let me know.

It’s also the time of year that we start to take on commitments for next year! We hope to be able to keep all of you heading into next year although we already know that a few of you are moving to other states.  We are also receiving quite a bit of interest from new families this year and expect to be able to fill up our 10 daily available seats rather quickly, by no later than June.  So please do get those enrollment forms in as soon a s possible and please let me know if you need any special arrangements to structure your tuition payments for next year, as you know I am very flexible and will work with you.

Next year we will be continuing our studies in:

Mathematics, English Language Arts, Italian, Social Studies, Science and STEAM, Art, Robotics, Physical Education, Music.

Possible new classes for next year:

Nutrition and Cooking and/or Scrapbooking (involving pictures writing, creative ideas, scraps crafting and documenting, activity involving memorabilia, journaling and embellishments)

We will be making final decisions on these in the coming month so please stay tuned for updates on this.
